Waitlist Flow overview

RWA: Waitlist Flow helps Shopify merchants manage demand for limited-capacity products, events, workshops, and drops. It keeps customers in a first-come, first-served queue and turns an available spot into a draft-order checkout link.

The customer journey

  1. A customer joins through a link or the Waitlist Button theme block.
  2. Waitlist Flow stores their name and email and optionally sends a confirmation.
  3. A spot opens because of a cancellation, refund, or a manual action.
  4. The next customer receives a claim email with a checkout link.
  5. The customer completes checkout before the claim window expires.
  6. If the spot is not claimed, the next waiting customer can be notified automatically.

Core features

  • Capacity limits for each waitlist
  • Automatic cancellation and refund triggers
  • Manual Free Up 1 Slot notifications
  • Join confirmation and claim emails
  • Shopify theme app extension
  • CSV export and branded emails on Pro
  • Shopify Sidekick tools for common waitlist tasks
